Privacy Policy

We believe in the privacy of our customers. We follow a strict privacy policy concerning information sent to us by our clients and customers. This policy includes the following provisions:

• We will not sell or transfer your information to any third party without your consent.
• Our mailing list will be limited to those who wish to receive information about our brand and programs.
• Any consumer may have his or her name and email address removed from our mailing list by contacting us.

Return and Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return the item in its original condition for credit, less shipping costs.  Please contact us at hjh@poppymetals.com for returns. To receive credit item(s) must be:

• Returned within 30 days of the original purchase date.
• The merchandise must be in original condition.  Once received, an e-mail will be sent and credit will be issued. Please insure your package for the full value of the merchandise.

 

Lifetime Warranty

All pieces have a Lifetime Warranty.  If there is ever a defect and you find that there is a problem with your jewelry, please send it back for immediate repairs at no charge.  Simply contact us to let us know it’s on the way and explain in which ways it needs to “come back to life.”  We only accept those items that have indeed been faulty fabrication.  However, if there has been a misplaced earring or ring down the disposal, we can try to duplicate and send you a new one at the current price.

 

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Our pieces are one-of-a-kind, hand crafted and often “made to order.”  Each item comes in a nicely wrapped white box, red ribbon and adorned with a little silk Poppy flower.

• Please allow 1-4 days for your order to be processed.
• Orders placed after 1 pm on Friday will ship the following Monday. All of our shipping options are insured, and shipping rates vary according to insured value of items purchased.  Note: we do not ship to PO Box addresses, apologies for the inconvenience.

 

 

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available, please contact us at hjh@poppymetals.com to make this order.  Credit cards are taken over the phone, or checks mailed for the amount given.  Certificates will be placed in the mail with a personalized note (please include in email) to the recipient.  This gift certificate can also be used towards “personalized commissions.”

Care For Jewelry

To keep silver clean: keep in an air tight bag or enclosed box.  If it tarnishes, gently clean with silver polish.  With Argentium sterling silver, brush with hot soapy water.

 

Jewelry and Metalwork Repair

Broken chains, bent rings, sad silverware… let us know!  Prices are based on a case by case circumstance. Please contact us to go over details for repair and to receive a (no charge) quote.

 

Materials, Processes & Technicalities:

Gold – Interest in seeing these pieces made in gold?  There are many different alloys & karats of gold, please contact us for pricing and special orders.

Gold-Filled - This material is composed of a solid layer of gold, bonded with a base metal.  Gold-filled allows us to offer a substantially reduced price to our customers while keeping the look of 14k gold in many of our designs.

Argentium Sterling Silver - Argentium silver is used in many items.  We use this new alloy of metal in order to reduce discoloration and future tarnishing.  Argentium silver contains no less than 92.5% fine silver with the addition of germanium.

Oxidation (patina) – This is a liver of sulfur solution that increase the time of oxidation on metal.  This does not hurt the metal, is not toxic or harmful to wear and simply adds a nice contrast to other metals.  If there is a piece that you would like without oxidation, please contact us to let us know when ordering.

Measurements - Confusing as it may be, “height” actually means thickness.  So if an item says “total height” be assured it means how thick the item is.  If you are not satisfied with the size choices, please contact us and let us know what you which size you wish to order.  Please note, price increase may be reflected by the amount of metal used for larger pieces.
